Anyone know anything about Spotify audio quality? I hadn't noticed until tonight, when I started playing some old (128 kbps) mp3s from an old mix I'd made that had some deep cuts not on Spotify. I did a head-to-head comparison of a track that is on Spotify and it's subtle but noticeably worse on there than my (low bitrate) mp3.

Tonight I went to see friend Gregg Prickett play with Jonathan F. Horne. I didn't know of Jonathan before, and this is quite the rabbit hole:
