Most people don't want the blood from the capitalist stone, we just want our kids to have a reasonably nice life. But to provide that, we have to play the same stone squeezing game.
I would like the Adam Curtis documentary on how we as a society became unable to have common spaces without music playing in them. The library is now the only place without noise pollution. And I say this as a lover of most music.
