Because of spring break timing, this morning is my first morning ride since the time change. I'm so excited about riding in the dark again after a month or so of slowly getting to ride with more light outside. 🙄

Another successful family road trip to new places in the trusty old van. Today's return leg had some rain and high winds but we managed ok.

We made it through the first Arkansas tournament game yesterday and then all hit the mid-trip wall. Taking it easy today, watching today's game on TV in the hotel and going to the Opry tonight. Tomorrow is my nephew's baseball game and then hitting the road back home.

This has all been plan B after our original spring break plans fell through at the last minute (we were already in Memphis on our way to visit family in Chattanooga). Not a bad plan B. Sometimes being lazy in a decent hotel two states over is actually a great family vacation.

Been in Memphis about 18 hours and so far one star. On track to being the only city besides Vegas I will be fine never visiting again. I don't expect Graceland to change this trajectory but I'm trying to stay open-minded. I'm trying to remind myself it won't be Paul Simon, more Trump, keep my expectations more anthropological.

Graceland was great, and I have never cared about Elvis. We basically had the place to ourselves.

TV room. I had never seen pictures of Graceland before so everything was new and delightfully wild
