Another successful family road trip to new places in the trusty old van. Today's return leg had some rain and high winds but we managed ok.
I don't listen to country music but that was fun
This has all been plan B after our original spring break plans fell through at the last minute (we were already in Memphis on our way to visit family in Chattanooga). Not a bad plan B. Sometimes being lazy in a decent hotel two states over is actually a great family vacation.
Been in Memphis about 18 hours and so far one star. On track to being the only city besides Vegas I will be fine never visiting again. I don't expect Graceland to change this trajectory but I'm trying to stay open-minded. I'm trying to remind myself it won't be Paul Simon, more Trump, keep my expectations more anthropological.
