Stage 1 of the #tourdefrance was the best I can remember in a long time. I've watched the finish 5 times now and got goosebumps every time. Every single commentator has used the term "masterclass" to describe the winning tactics. Winner in his last ever TdF, his teammate who made it happen in his first ever TdF. Y'all...I've been honestly trying to use GenAI to help me write some stuff. I'll get stuck on something and throw it to a few different tools, one of which is even using my own writing for reference. The stuff it generates is driveling shit.

This begs the question: the people bullish on even this most basic of LLM tasks...are they just that bad at writing in the first place?
