I'm not sure I've ever written this down, but "Yoshimi...", as I came to understand it (probably wrong), is about a girl battling cancer. I recontextualized it on my last record--a concept covers record about my daughter's death--to represent my daughter being taken from this world to do battle in another world. The robots in my context are spiritual forces, possibly the same spiritual forces that have haunted me since her passing.
