Ha! My own filter hid my post.

As far as I can tell, all local advocacy is being organized on Facebook, Instagram, and very out-of-date GoDaddy websites. There is a bicycling organization here and the only information I can find about their activities is in IG reels I just happen to see because I am on that platform (I wish I wasn't but it's the best way for me to see the photos my wife takes--a technological failure story for another post). I guess I am going to transcribe the info from the reel?
There are a dozen girls in our neighborhood going into middle school (including my daughter). The moms organized a gathering this morning and we're going to walk them part way (our neighborhood is next to our middle and high schools). There's a bridge over a creek and we're going to wave goodbye as they cross the bridge. It's a little cheesy and a little awesome and quite the scene at 7:45 am.

I guess my Space Horse will become an increasing rarity
Because my infodiet is mostly this site and YouTube -- i.e. A) meta-fedi, world literally burning, cats, tech is terrible, billionaires are awful, infra is crumbling, hateful people are hateful, B) full-time lifestyle bicyclists going on epic adventures...actually, that's almost it for YT since I cancelled my subscription and unsubbed to a lot of channels -- last night I finally caught up on UFOs and indictments. And wow.
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that's, well, it's still up for debate.
Oh, these days, it's so hard to relax
You gotta hold a gun to my back to make me smile
To make me smile
And the only way I seem to cope
Is by trying to hold on to hope if just for a while
If just for a while
I wanna know the measure from here to forever
And I wanna feel the pressure of God or whatever
Now it seems more than ever there's no hands on the levers
And I wanna feel the pressure of God or whatever
Actually wrote a short blog post about this one ~year ago daniel.industries/2022/08/20/i-want-to-know-the-measure-from-here-to-forever/
