Top of the list for why I sometimes hate web dev: Last night I was futzing with my blog and noticed a bug on my archive page navigation, which uses JS to highlight the section you clicked on. The bug was caused because the HTML as an anchor tag with a span tag inside. I'd put the click event listener on the anchor. This is basic stuff, but so hard to spot, and typically a non-issue when using FE frameworks.

MFW a cool new app crosses my desk and it is really similar to something I wanted to build last year right before I went back to FTE and I bring up the project card in Notion and just stare at it and its created-at date. 🫠

Attempted vibe coding (on bolt.new). It did not work and made me angry. I ran out of free credits and quit. It's basically just debugging someone else's code.
