"...there is a great deal of work to try to develop smarter machines, machines which have a better relationship with humans so that input and output can be made with less effort than the complex programming that’s necessary today. This often goes under the name of artificial intelligence, but I don’t like that name. Perhaps the unintelligent machines can do even better than the intelligent ones."
There's an article about accessibility going around that's on a site with only dark mode. I can't read it* because my cataract makes white text on a dark background unreadable.**
The author can't read it (that way) either, as they are blind, so I guess I've learned my lesson.
* IRL I could click Reader Mode or chuck it into Instapaper, but I'm trying to make a point.
** In theory, modern medicine and a few grand is solving this problem in 2 weeks.

Holy 💩 I made my first Bandcamp sale in YEARS. For a Beatles cover done by someone else. I only charge for covers. I already paid for the rights and won't ever make that money back. This also made me realize I don't have author or copyright info on the track pages for this record. TBH if you don't know this is a cover and who wrote it, you emerged from a time machine under a rock.
This reminds me to post again about Chris Holt's amazing new record christopherholtmusic.bandcamp.com/album/across-the-milky-way
